Marriage License


A marriage license must be obtained from the State of Colorado before your ceremony can be performed. Applicants for a marriage license do not need to be Colorado residents.  There is no waiting period, and the cost is $30. The license must be secured in person by both parties (affidavit applications are available when one party is not able to come directly to the office) at any county clerk’s office in Colorado with proof of age and identification, such as a valid passport or photo driver’s license.
